Meet the Geek

Josh is a tech geek for life. At the age of 13 in 2002, he set up a very early Wi-Fi network in his house, allowing him to ditch dialup on his laptop. In 8th grade, he started learning how to program on not only his computer but also his graphing calculator.

Josh began providing tech support to his family early and often. Now, after years as a software engineer, he is expanding operations to offer tech support to anyone needing it.

How long does a typical repair take?
Some fixes are quickly performed on site and you'll be up and running same day. Others may require additional hardware and will take a few days to a week.
What does a software tune up entail?
Typically if your system is running slowly, we look to remove bloatware, update necessary software including OS, and examine/optimize disk space.
Do you work on Apple devices?
Mac devices (computers/laptops) and Mac OS are a specialty of MagermanTech.
Do you fix phones and tablets?
We troubleshoot software issues for iOS and Android. We don’t perform hardware glass repairs.
What kind of hardware solutions do you offer?
For most desktops, we can upgrade RAM, hard drives, and video cards to improve performance and extend the lifespan. Laptops differ by make and model, though there are options for most to at least expand storage.
